Welcome to the positive blog, a place where we can ramble freely and offload, online.

Gorillaz Stylo video

Whatever you think of their music, Gorillaz always deliver something interesting with their visuals, and the latest offering "Stylo" is no exception. Looking very cinematic, right down to the Hollywood cameo, it begs the question: where next for the project? Maybe a feature length film?

Virtual Revolution

An interesting new series has just started on BBC2. Its about how 20 years of the web has reshaped our lives. If you missed the first episode catch it on Iplayer. Might be worth catching the whole series on Iplayer because it's on every Saturday night, perfectly scheduled if you want to geek it up!

Positive launch the new Send a Cow website

We're very proud to announce the launch of the new Send a Cow website.

Send a Cow are a charity that help African families work their way out of poverty and their CMS-driven site is full of information about the charity, their work, how to get involved and their work in schools.

A site of this size presents numerous technical challenges but we're thrilled with the result and response.

Head over and have a look.

The Architecture Centre website is live!

The Architecture Centre is the leading regional expert on engaging the public with the built environment and championing the creation of better quality neighbourhoods, buildings and public spaces. We have designed and developed the site after a thorough consultation process to allow each of the Centre's programmes of work to be properly represented.

The site is CMS-driven with bespoke-built content aggregation facilities, a bookings calendar and user commenting features.

2012 pictograms have been released

The London 2012 Olympic pictograms have been released and I think they are awesome! They have been designed by Someone to represent each of the sports and disciplines of the London Games.

There are two formats for each pictogram - a silhouette and a 'dynamic' version. They will be used on merchandise, posters and sign-posts and were inspired by the London Underground map.

Now we are starting to see more of the 2012 brand coming together. I'm really looking forward to seeing more

Oxford University digital brochures launch

This week sees the launch of the digital brochures we have designed and built for Oxford University's Said Business School.

The idea was to provide a cheaper, greener alternative to the printed brochure and exploit their online format by using video case studies and interviews to tell the Oxford story, as well as quick links to more detailed info and application forms on their website for those who wanted to know more.
